BEFORE | Potomac Glen | The dbl. oven and microwave need to be repositioned to allow for a better prep area between the refrigerator and the sink.

AFTER | Potomac Glen | The dbl. ovens have been replaced by two single ovens, one below the microwave and the other on the island.  This change allowed us to increase the prep area and notice the microwave is now built in to the cabinet above.  It's an easy step to move cold food from the refrig. to the microwave.

AFTER | Potomac Glen | The new island hood (Zephyr) adds a dramatic focal point to the room.

AFTER | Potomac Glen | The trim kit for the microwave gives a nice built in appearance instead of just hanging it below the cabinet or sitting on a countertop.

AFTER | Potomac Glen | The backsplash tile has a unique sculptured effect and is a feature that adds  character reminescent of a stone wall to the kitchen.

AFTER | Potomac Glen | The drawer has a wood stepped insert for the spices, especially useful being next to the cooktop.  As an option,  we can install the insert with a quarter turn, the spices would then face the chef.
